Why is skin health so important?
Skin is the body’s largest organ, measuring up to 20 square feet! Your skin is constantly undergoing changes and has many roles and function, the most important being to protect your body from external dangers such as bacteria, chemicals, foreign objects, dirt, temperature or UV rays from the sun.
Clients will typically have very clear goals and desires; they want to have smooth, soft, blemish-free skin that appears healthy and youthful!
Here at Chautauqua Medical Aesthetics, we can positively influence clients’ appearances with injectables, however, the full benefit of these services may appear less successful (or even unnoticed) if the underlying skin health is not optimal.

MEET THE CMA TEAM
Metivia Whitmore, DO
Dr. Whitmore is a board certified Family Medicine Physician. Having struggled personally with skin issues her entire adult life, she is empathetic to people who suffer from acne, scarring, hyperpigmentation and other skin woes.
Her experience in the medical field since 2004 has given her insight into how to heal troubled skin. Now as she embarks into her aesthetic era, she is ready to put healing and enhancement together into one amazing product.
As a full time working mom of 2 boys, she understands how life can take a toll on how we look and feel about ourselves. She is excited to help create a radiant journey with you!
Sarah Uebelhoer,
PA - C
Sarah has been a board certified Physician Assistant since 2011 and is excited to join her two passions: skin care and caring for people.
Sarah has two little boys and between being a full time PA and a full time mom, she understands how it is hard to also take care of yourself at times.
Self care can be defined as doing the things that make you feel like you again. Feeling confident in your skin can go a long way and she is excited to help others find their inner glow again!
Katie Madden, PA - C
Katie is a board certified Physician Assistant since 2013. Spending her career thus far in family medicine she is passionate about caring for patients and helping them to feel the best version of themselves.
She is excited to use her experience to help you embrace and enhance your natural beauty through aesthetic medicine. As a mom of three young children, she understands that doing things that make you feel more like yourself is important.
She looks forward to embarking on this journey with you to radiant skin and glowing confidence.
Kristen Silk
Kristen was originally born and raised in Jamestown, NY. She relocated to Florida and attended The Florida College of Natural Health where she earned her certification in Aesthetics, Paramedical Aesthetics and Electrology. She then continued to get her Laser Hair Removal certification and became licensed for all three in the state of Florida.
She is now living in Jamestown and became a New York state-licensed Aesthetician as well. She has been in the Aesthetic industry for over 10 years and believes in results-driven treatments and products.
When she's not at work she enjoys spending time with her dog, Harper Grace, as well as her friends and family.
